Welcome to Chalo Maldives<\/strong> (\u201cwe\u201d, \u201cus\u201d, \u201cour\u201d). We operate as a travel booking facilitator specialising in Maldives hotel and resort reservations. By accessing our website, making an enquiry, or confirming a booking with us, you (\u201cclient\u201d, \u201cguest\u201d, \u201ctraveller\u201d, \u201cyou\u201d) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.<\/span><\/p>

1. Role of Our Agency<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

We act as an intermediary between you and the hotels\/resorts, airlines, transfer operators, and other service providers in the Maldives.<\/span>
All hotel bookings, transfer arrangements, and inclusions are subject to the individual terms, policies, and availability of the respective hotel\/resort.<\/span>
We do not own, operate, or control any hotel or resort services.<\/span><\/p>

2. Booking Process<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

A booking is considered confirmed only after:<\/span>
\u2022 Receipt of full or partial payment as specified, and<\/span>
\u2022 A written confirmation\/voucher issued by Chalo Maldives.<\/span>
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.<\/span>
Prices quoted are based on current rates, offers, and resort contracts and may vary until confirmed.<\/span>
Traveller details must be accurate \u2014 incorrect details may result in denial of service or extra charges.<\/span><\/p>

3. Payments<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

Payments must be made within the deadlines provided at the time of booking.<\/span>
Delayed payments may result in automatic cancellation.<\/span>
Pricing may be quoted in USD, while billing may be done in INR or USD.<\/span>
Bank, payment gateway, or remittance charges must be borne by the client.<\/span><\/p>

4. Cancellations, Amendments & Refunds<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

Policies are governed entirely by the hotel\/resort and may vary based on season or promotional offers.<\/span>
Cancellation fees, non-refundable deposits, and no-show charges may apply.<\/span>
No-show or early checkout is typically 100% non-refundable<\/strong>.<\/span>
Refunds (if applicable) follow supplier timelines and may take 15\u201360 working days<\/strong> after deducting applicable fees.<\/span>
Amendments after confirmation may incur additional charges.<\/span><\/p>

5. Resort Transfers (Speedboat \/ Domestic Flight \/ Seaplane)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

All transfers are operated by the respective resorts or authorized transfer partners.<\/span>
Seaplanes operate only during daylight hours (approx. 06:00\u201316:00<\/strong>).<\/span>
Chalo Maldives is not responsible<\/strong> for transfer schedules, delays, or operational changes.<\/span>
Any additional accommodation or transport costs arising from delays must be borne by the guest.<\/span><\/p>

6. Travel Documents & Requirements<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

You are responsible for ensuring:<\/span>
\u2022 Valid passports<\/span>
\u2022 Required visas<\/span>
\u2022 Applicable health or vaccination requirements<\/span>
Entry requirements may change; travellers must verify latest rules before departure.<\/span><\/p>

7. Special Requests<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

Requests such as bedding preferences, celebrations, or dietary needs will be shared with the resort but cannot be guaranteed<\/strong>.<\/span>
Upgrades, early check-in, and late checkout are subject to availability and hotel policy.<\/span><\/p>

8. Accuracy of Information<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

Descriptions, photos, and facility listings are based on resort-provided information and may vary due to renovations, operational decisions, or seasonal changes.<\/span>
Temporary facility closures are not the responsibility of Chalo Maldives.<\/span><\/p>

9. Liability Disclaimer<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

Chalo Maldives is not liable for:<\/span>
\u2022 Acts, errors, or services provided by hotels, resorts, or transfer operators<\/span>
\u2022 Weather conditions, natural disasters, or government restrictions<\/span>
\u2022 Flight cancellations, delays, or missed connections<\/span>
\u2022 Loss, theft, illness, injury, or damage to belongings<\/span>
Our liability is limited strictly to the amount paid to us for the booking.<\/span><\/p>

10. Travel Insurance<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, luggage loss, and weather or transport delays.<\/span>
Chalo Maldives does not provide insurance and cannot be held responsible for losses due to lack of coverage.<\/span><\/p>

11. Force Majeure<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by unavoidable events such as pandemics, natural disasters, weather disruptions, labour strikes, or sudden regulation changes.<\/span><\/p>

12. Pricing & Taxes<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

Prices quoted include:<\/span>
\u2022 10% Service Charge<\/span>
\u2022 16% T-GST<\/span>
\u2022 Green Tax (USD 6 per person per night or as applicable)<\/span>
If government taxes or resort charges increase, additional amounts may be charged even after booking confirmation.<\/span><\/p>

13. Behaviour & Resort Policies<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

Guests must follow Maldivian laws and resort rules.<\/span>
Resorts reserve the right to deny or discontinue services to guests engaging in unsafe, abusive, or unlawful activity without refunds.<\/span><\/p>

14. Intellectual Property<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

All content, media, and branding under Chalo Maldives are protected and cannot be reused, copied, or redistributed without written consent.<\/span><\/p>

15. Governing Law<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any legal dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>
