Welcome to Chalo Maldives (“we”, “us”, “our”). We operate as a travel booking facilitator specialising in Maldives hotel and resort reservations. By accessing our website, making an enquiry, or confirming a booking with us, you (“client”, “guest”, “traveller”, “you”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Role of Our Agency
We act as an intermediary between you and the hotels/resorts, airlines, transfer operators, and other service providers in the Maldives.
All hotel bookings, transfer arrangements, and inclusions are subject to the individual terms, policies, and availability of the respective hotel/resort.
We do not own, operate, or control any hotel or resort services.
2. Booking Process
A booking is considered confirmed only after:
• Receipt of full or partial payment as specified, and
• A written confirmation/voucher issued by Chalo Maldives.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
Prices quoted are based on current rates, offers, and resort contracts and may vary until confirmed.
Traveller details must be accurate — incorrect details may result in denial of service or extra charges.
3. Payments
Payments must be made within the deadlines provided at the time of booking.
Delayed payments may result in automatic cancellation.
Pricing may be quoted in USD, while billing may be done in INR or USD.
Bank, payment gateway, or remittance charges must be borne by the client.
4. Cancellations, Amendments & Refunds
Policies are governed entirely by the hotel/resort and may vary based on season or promotional offers.
Cancellation fees, non-refundable deposits, and no-show charges may apply.
No-show or early checkout is typically 100% non-refundable.
Refunds (if applicable) follow supplier timelines and may take 15–60 working days after deducting applicable fees.
Amendments after confirmation may incur additional charges.
5. Resort Transfers (Speedboat / Domestic Flight / Seaplane)
All transfers are operated by the respective resorts or authorized transfer partners.
Seaplanes operate only during daylight hours (approx. 06:00–16:00).
Chalo Maldives is not responsible for transfer schedules, delays, or operational changes.
Any additional accommodation or transport costs arising from delays must be borne by the guest.
6. Travel Documents & Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring:
• Valid passports
• Required visas
• Applicable health or vaccination requirements
Entry requirements may change; travellers must verify latest rules before departure.
7. Special Requests
Requests such as bedding preferences, celebrations, or dietary needs will be shared with the resort but cannot be guaranteed.
Upgrades, early check-in, and late checkout are subject to availability and hotel policy.
8. Accuracy of Information
Descriptions, photos, and facility listings are based on resort-provided information and may vary due to renovations, operational decisions, or seasonal changes.
Temporary facility closures are not the responsibility of Chalo Maldives.
9. Liability Disclaimer
Chalo Maldives is not liable for:
• Acts, errors, or services provided by hotels, resorts, or transfer operators
• Weather conditions, natural disasters, or government restrictions
• Flight cancellations, delays, or missed connections
• Loss, theft, illness, injury, or damage to belongings
Our liability is limited strictly to the amount paid to us for the booking.
10. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance covering medical emergencies, cancellations, luggage loss, and weather or transport delays.
Chalo Maldives does not provide insurance and cannot be held responsible for losses due to lack of coverage.
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by unavoidable events such as pandemics, natural disasters, weather disruptions, labour strikes, or sudden regulation changes.
12. Pricing & Taxes
Prices quoted include:
• 10% Service Charge
• 16% T-GST
• Green Tax (USD 6 per person per night or as applicable)
If government taxes or resort charges increase, additional amounts may be charged even after booking confirmation.
13. Behaviour & Resort Policies
Guests must follow Maldivian laws and resort rules.
Resorts reserve the right to deny or discontinue services to guests engaging in unsafe, abusive, or unlawful activity without refunds.
14. Intellectual Property
All content, media, and branding under Chalo Maldives are protected and cannot be reused, copied, or redistributed without written consent.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any legal dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
16. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

- 19.2 Transfer Providers: Speedboat, domestic flight, or seaplane operators.

- 19.4 Service Providers: (e.g., hosting, analytics, email services) strictly for operational use.
- 19.5 Legal Authorities: Only where required by law or regulation.
All partners are required to uphold strict confidentiality and data protection.
